"Warlock Games" 'premiered', as it were, yesterday to around 20 people in a wonderful stately home in Sussex, a nice way of making the film sound better than it is.
I'm back now, and have decided to release it a day early (as I expected I might do), but won't advertise this fact too much. Except WATCH IT HERE or on YOUTUBE (or alternatively, in the blog right on the right here.)
Enjoy!

"Warlock"'s finished, and it's on YouTube for initial viewings. I'll release it and embed it on this site on Monday, so watch this space. LDP have never been busier and are working hard on getting the name out and I'm currently perfecting my home studio... A page on studio services will be out soon but in the mean time if you need info asap then just e-mail me at [email protected] Today has been unexpectedly frantic. Early screenings were received very well, but the beginning was seen to be quite...erm...unexplained. So a few guys and I went out this morning to shoot a scene I wrote late last night, in which Jimmy Savile makes an appearance. Foley was also done, on location (and for the record, it looks like the fake blood we left dried pink, so we shouldn't be expecting any friendly policemen to come a'calling...) Yeah yeah, I haven't posted since we filmed, except to say I was going to sleep. Which I didn't. I stayed up for a further 30 hours editing after that last post. At this moment in time, a fourth cut has been rendered and, apart from maybe a few sound effects I may want to add in, it is finished, and ready to be sent off for Dan to score. That's the bit I'm really looking forward to. Quick update: we're done, took under five hours. Fake blood failed, so we shot different fake blood scenes. After yesterday's post being late, I decided this should be early, as most of Day 8's work is complete, and the rest is mostly last-minute packing and organising. You are unlikely to have noticed the site has undergone a revamp (unlikely because as yet we get very few visitors to the site). This has been for multiple reasons, not least because we felt a change was in order. We've taken some stuff (e.g. New Slang) down, and put a whole load of new stuff up, while other things still need to be updated. Okay, I lie. It's actually Day 8, but let's not worry about that. Day 7 was a knackering day, even before we'd set out. I probably needed a bit more sleep first. Day 6, what a wonderful day on which to start a journal. However, today has been one of the least eventful days so far - I seem to have run out of things to prepare! |
