Okay, I lie. It's actually Day 8, but let's not worry about that. Day 7 was a knackering day, even before we'd set out. I probably needed a bit more sleep first.
We encountered some initial problems, the main being that the primary camera stopped working (it needs cleaning) so an emergency trip had to be made to Dartford Sound Systems (yes, they do video...for me...) for some quickfire equipment.
However, we nonetheless set out fairly on time, and managed to rehearse most of the film on location quite well (but I did manage to shoot the first boom-mic scene with the microphone switched off.) Speed is of the essence, though, as it could get dark earlier than we'd hoped...
The special effects are going to be a nightmare, I can tell. But bloody fun. Also, I have a rough cut of one of the scenes of the film, so it's good to see how that one's turned out!
